Leading prize winners print with Apex anilox rolls
Press release, August 2007
In recent years there has been an increasing trend to multi-coloured corrugated board packaging in general and displays in particular and this trend is continuing. As a result packaging manufacturers are faced with tremendous demands in terms of print quality. In order to achieve the optimum here, leading packaging manufacturers are constantly on the lookout for suitably qualified partners, in cooperation with whom they can achieve this objective.
Because of this, many companies that use anilox rolls have decided to work with the Apex Group of Companies. In this way, two well-known companies, Duropack Kalsdorf/A and Heuchemer Verpackung/D have managed to win important prizes for some of their packaging products. During the EFTA flexographic printing competition, Duropack Kalsdorf was awarded the Gold Medal in the Postprint category for the Brevellier Urban "Jolly Holzetui" product, and one bronze medal for Meisterfrost's "Palatschini". The company was awarded the Gold Medal for its impressive customer presentation folder. At the 7th Grand Prix Cyrel, Duropack Kalsdorf gained the Silver Medal with "Die echte Mozartkugel", and 5th place with "Toblerone".
Another company, Heuchemer Verpackung also achieved a major success during this international competition which is held once every 3-5 years. The company from Bad Embs/Miehlen was voted no. 1 worldwide with the best marks in the category "E-F-Welle" for a floor standing presentation unit.
Both these companies have been working together with Apex on the basis of mutual agreements for a number of years; they rely on the quality of the products of this leading anilox and metering roll manufacturer installed in their high performance printing presses. When purchasing another new printing press, Duropack specified Apex as its OE partner, because of the succesful outcome of cooperation sofar. According to Heuchemer's Managing Director, Christoph Heuchemer, his company also plans to intensify future cooperation with Apex.
