Apex opens new headquarters

After intensive project planning and having finalized several chapters of construction the new production and office building of the Apex Group of Companies in Hapert (the Netherlands) is completely ready. In the first week of July the new highlight of the successful development of the company was officially opened.

In the past 1 ½ years a huge supplementary production hall was raised for new machine equipment as well as a complete new logistics department. The existing laser room was renewed and expanded in order to improve the capacity for the engraving of the high-tech developed products of the worldwide operating anilox- and metering roll manufacturer.

Especially in the field of Research & Development a separate position was made room for in the new building. At the location where in the past the old building was standing, a modern two-storey building was now constructed. The heart of this new office is the auditorium for 100 guests, which is equipped with the newest conference techniques. This is where the well-known practice-oriented and informative technical meetings for the Corrugated and Flexo industry will take place again in autumn of this year.

In total, the festivities for the opening took 4 days under the device “Apex – refreshingly new”. Next to the official opening, there was also an open-house, where relations received the possibility of having a look at the completely new building including the production facilities. A party for the employees and an Active outdoor-day for all people working for Apex completed the programme.

An important part of the program for the official opening was a huge International Sales Meeting, where more than 70 representatives coming from 26 countries took part in. Of course, the Apex Sales offices from Benelux, Germany, France, UK, Spain, Asia Pacific and Latin America as well as the colleague production facilities were present in Hapert. This meeting was dedicated to the Theme “Genetic Transfer Technology – GTT” and the international exchange of experiences with the - in the meantime globally successful introduction of the - metering roll generation from Apex.
