Apex Group of Companies starts activities in Latin America – appointment of Dercilio Oliveira (Sales Area Manager)

Apex Group of Companies is a well-known manufacturer and supplier of anilox- and metering rolls in the (flexo-) graphic printing industry. Its headquarters is situated in the Netherlands. Apex has appointed Dercilio Oliveira as Sales Area Manager for Apex Latin America. Apex is confident that investing in experienced people, enables visiting customers more often and support them in a better way with a high level of technical know-how. Individual service can now be given in Latin America, tailored to the needs of the local market and spoken in the national language, either Spanish or Portuguese.

Dercilio Oliveira has a professional history in Techniques as well as Commerce. He started working as Mechanical Engineer in Brazil. After 1990 he moved to the USA working in import/export businesses to/from Latin America. Approximately one year ago, Dercilio Oliveira started working in the flexographic industry as Vice President International Sales of anilox rolls. He took the opportunity to learn and understand the printing industry and the flexo segment in particular. Shortly after, he was introduced to Apex where he was appointed right before Drupa, the most important printing exhibition worldwide.

In his own words “I was introduced to Apex and was amazed by the product line and new advanced technologies they were bringing to the industry. For instance, the Genetic Transfer Technology which will give the standardization of the flexo printing process a new momentum. No longer will we speak about anilox rolls, because this new technology does not create a standard ceramic layer with cells in lines per cm anymore.
